News Release: Dec.20.2010 issue. ANNOUNCEMENT OF CORPORATE NAME CHANGE SUMITOMO DOW LIMITED

We are pleased to announce that effective April 1, 2011, Sumitomo Dow Limited (“the Company”) changes its corporate name to:

Sumika Styron Polycarbonate Limited (“SSPC”)

The corporate name change mentioned above is to be executed because Styron Holding B.V. (“Styron”) assumed ownership of the 50 percent share in the Company that was formerly owned by The Dow Chemical Company (“TDCC”) and consequently, the Company became a 50:50 joint venture owned equally by Sumitomo Chemical and Styron as of September 24, 2010.

The Company crowned with the new corporate name “SSPC” will continue to serve its customers and market polycarbonate products under the trademarks CALIBRE^TM and SD POLYCA^TM. Customers of the Company can expect minimal changes and continue to rely on the same team of commercial representatives and technical experts to support the same products and technology.
